The acting is great, never have I cried so much watching a period drama. I won’t rate on plot as this is based on a true story and I can hardly critique the writers of having a crappy plot, but the gist of it all is in the synopsis anyway.

Period dramas are not usually my thing, I’ll be the first to admit that, but with all the doo dally about this particular one I decided to give it a go. The drama is about the third empress of the Goryeo era who fought against the Tungusic people of Manchuria in order to achieve their dream of reclaiming their old land.
